My uncle is trying to connect all of our laptops to his wireless Deskjet printer but when I go to add printer, in the list of drivers and whatnot, the deskjet series that he has will not show up in the listing. I clicked Windows update and still nothing. Is there a way around this or a way to add the printer where it will connect to the laptop without doing this? He downloaded the driver and software already from the HP website but it wants to do this again within the control panel, if I’m describing that correctly. Any tips?
Yes and it’s not as hard as it sounds.
Just go to the printer’s website and look for a link to the manufacturer’s drivers. Locate the specific model and download that driver software to a flash drive or some portable media. Just used that media to load the drivers onto your laptop.

HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2010 Printer Series K010 is the most popular inkjet printer that I have ever come across. Loaded with fine features and ink efficient HP cartridges, this printer has all the reasons to be termed as the winner. It weighs just 2kgs and the dimensions of 4217 mm x 380 mm x 266 mm make it quite portable.
It inkjet printer has the potential to produce documents up to 20 pages per minute of monochromatic print, and up to 16 pages per minute of color prints. That was about Draft mode, and in Best mode you can obtain rich texts and images at speed up to 5.5 pages per minute (B&W) and 4 pages per minute (color).
