Is it unusual to buy a printer without a USB cable being supplied with it?
I’ve just bought a new HP deskjet printer but there’s no USB cable with it. Would you expect a USB cable to be supplied with your new printer? It’s too late to bring it back to the shop so I’ll have to wait until the morning.
Hey Jeebus, I’ve just bought a brand new printer. The least they can do is give me a USB cable to go with it!
i also purchased a new HP deskjet and the sales person said the USB cable was extra, my blood pressure was going up and i replied " would you buy a car with only 3 wheels" no he said. got the cable 🙂

I know its retarded but they don’t supply the cable.Its like you buy a car and you have to buy the wheels separately.

They just get cheaper and cheaper. Some do come with a cable but the cheaper ones often don’t. I bought a new washer and dryer a few years ago almost $1000 bucks and they showed up to install. The guy ask me if I had a cord for the dryer. I said no, I figured it would come with one. Didn’t even think to ask when I bought it and no one told me I need one. He was real helpful said they had one they would sell me for $40 bucks. LOL I said no thanks don’t bother to unload I don’t want the washer or dryer. Well guess what, they gave me the cord. LOL
