How can I scan from a printer and print directly to other?

January 29th, 2013 3 comments

Hii,
I have a HP Deskjet F380 printer which supports scan, copy and print..I am planning to buy a Samsung Laser Printer in the coming days..
I was thinking is it possible to scan a document from my HP printer and print directly to Samsung Laser printer (in short, copying) without (first scanning, saving to computer and then printing).

My HP printer has only 1 USB port.

You can suggest any specific software or a trick to do this..
Thanks

I use Nuance’s PaperPort program to do that exact thing between a scanner & a printer.

My laptop’s operating system is Windows Vista. The HP Deskjet F380 printer I bought had an installer which did not support my operating system. Where can I download an installer which supports my OS?

HP Deskjet F380 All-In-One printer

I bought the printer and camera off of ebay. The discs weren’t included although I thought from reading the info providing on the ebay page for the items the person was including them. I was wrong however. So now I need to find the software. I can’t afford to buy the discs. I live on a tight budget and my only income is my SSI/disability check.

www.hpstore.com. All the software downloads are there.

Is it possible to connect a HP Deskjet Printer to a Acer laptop?

A friend kindly donated an HP Deskjet F380 Printer/Copier/Scanner to me. However I have an Acer Aspire 3680 laptop and the lead from the Deskjet does not fit into it anywhere.
Does anyone know if there is a cable available I could buy to connect the two? Or are they not compatible??
Any help would be appreciated!

You need a USB to Parallel adaptor. Available on ebay and Office Depot. Ebay is much cheaper if your not in a hurry,

Having a multifunctional printer is a very good idea. It doesn’t only saves space on a desktop and reduces the cable clutter behind it replacing two or three devices at the same time, but also the operation costs are cut, since there is no necessity to buy different kind of ink cartridges.

Many of them are very easy to install and use. Fortunately, there are many options in the market, designed for beginners and for more advanced users. One of the most easy to use and price competitive is the HP DeskJet F380 which combines in one single device, a color copier, a high resolution scanner and a color printer with great quality that HP usually delivers.
