I need simple instructions on how to fill my cartridge?

January 30th, 2013 3 comments

I bought a NCR Universal Black inkjet refill kit and I need some simple instructions on how to do that as I’m clueless and it’s my first time. I have a HP Deskjet printer and my HP cartridge is 21.

How-to refill your ink cartridge

The following is included in a typical Printer Cartridge Refill Kit : ink bottles, syringes and detailed instructions. Some kits include an air balance clip for balancing the air inside the cartridge to ensure proper ink flow. Some kits also include hand-drill tool to make a hole in the top of your empty cartridge.
Refilling Process

1. To start the refilling process, fill the syringe with one of the ink colors over the sink or several sheets of scrap paper to prevent any mess. Different printers hold different amounts of ink. In most Epson printers, the black cartridge holds approximately 17 ml and the color cartridges hold approximately 8 ml. See the instructions with your refill kit to see how much ink your cartridges can hold.

2. Before inserting the needle, make a small hole in the top of the cartridge (one for each color chamber). The hole is at the top of the cartridge near the label. Simply push the needle through the hole and press to the bottom of the cartridge towards the outlet hole. It’s important to fill the cartridge slowly so as to avoid the ink from foaming and introducing air in the chamber.

3. You do not need to seal the refill holes since there are already breather holes on the top of the <b> Printer Cartridge </b>.

4. Any unused ink can be put back in the bottle. You should clean the syringe with water and dry it properly to do the same process for the other cartridges or for future use. You can also label each syringe for the different colors so that each syringe is only used with one color. Even you can Buy Printer Cartridges at discount anywhere in united states

5. Once you place the cartridge back in the printer, run the cleaning cycle 1 to 3 times. If there are any gaps in the printing, run the cleaning cycle again.

Don’t Forget

There are a few things to remember when refilling your cartridge. It should be refilled before the cartridge is completely empty to avoid the chamber from drying out and clogging. Also, it is a good idea to let the printer cartridge sit for a few hours (or overnight) so that the pressure in the cartridge will stabilize.

Some printers, like newer Epson models, have a green chip on their ink cartridges which is visible by looking at your cartridge. They are often referred to as "Intellidge" cartridges. The chip keeps track of how often the cartridge is used and lets the computer know when the cartridge may be low or empty. As long as you reset the chip, refilling the cartridge with ink from a refill kit will not be a problem. A resetting tool can be used to reset the memory on the chip. This allows the printer to recognize the cartridge as being full which makes printing with a refilled cartridge possible.

How can I scan from a printer and print directly to other?

Hii,
I have a HP Deskjet F380 printer which supports scan, copy and print..I am planning to buy a Samsung Laser Printer in the coming days..
I was thinking is it possible to scan a document from my HP printer and print directly to Samsung Laser printer (in short, copying) without (first scanning, saving to computer and then printing).

My HP printer has only 1 USB port.

You can suggest any specific software or a trick to do this..
Thanks

I use Nuance’s PaperPort program to do that exact thing between a scanner & a printer.

How do you install an HP Deskjet F300 series printer to a computer with a Windows Vista operating system?

My laptop’s operating system is Windows Vista. The HP Deskjet F380 printer I bought had an installer which did not support my operating system. Where can I download an installer which supports my OS?

How do I fix my printer?

January 25th, 2013 1 comment

I have a HP Deskjet printer, and the lights just keep blinking. It will not do anything else. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Couple things… Take all of the paper out of the feeder. Then, open up the printer and make sure there isn’t a paper jam anywhere. Make sure there’s no crumpled up piece of paper or anything getting in the way. If there doesn’t appear to be anything stuck, close the printer back up, and turn it off. After a few seconds, turn the printer back on. Effectively, you’ve reset the printer. You know that there is no paper jam or anything that appears to be wrong with the printer. There’s no paper in the printer, so it can’t be a sensor issue or something, etc.. Load the paper back into the feeder, and see if it will print now.

If resetting the printer doesn’t work, now that we’ve established that there can’t be anything else wrong with it, there’s a good chance that it’s a hardware issue, or something’s actually wrong with the printer.

If it’s just a cheap desktop printer, that’s not even surprising. Nowadays, those desktop printers are so cheap, (often times you get them for free after a mail-in rebate or something ridiculous) that I’d recommend just getting a new one as opposed to having someone look at the printer and try to fix it.

Good luck.

Is there something I can put over a transparency sheet after Ive printed on it to keep the ink from rubbing of?

I printed an image onto a transparency sheet from a deskjet printer. The ink just rubs off. Is there something I could put over it to keep that from happening?

Make sure you buy transparency sheets designed for inkjet printers and not just any transparency sheets.

Will a different kind of ink be compatible?

January 13th, 2013 2 comments

I have a HP 845c deskjet printer. The printer takes a 15 black ink cartage and a 17 tri-color cartage. However, this 17 cartage cannot be found in stores. You can find a 15 black 75 tri-color joint package at the local businesses. Would this 75 tri-color cartage be compatible for my 17 ink cartage.

These are the model printers that the no 75 will fit. HP Deskjet D4260, D4360 / HP Photosmart series C4240, C4250, C4280 , C4285, C4345, C4350, C4380, C4385, C4440, C4450, C4480, C4580, C5225, C5240, C5250, C5280, D5345, D5360, C5580 / HP Officejet J5750, J5780, J6480. So no the 75 is not compatible with your printer.
